Henry Clay Estate

Payton L. I was a little sad when I couldn't go to Williamsburg but that's okay because I went to the Henry Clay estate in Lexington. He was very rich and had a fancy house. He had 11 children but 5 of them died. They did not have bathrooms or electricity. They had outhouses and a special gas for light. They had a large farm and a lot of land. He had slaves, too, although he didn't like slavery. I hope I get to go back again.
