During the first week of school our focus will be on learning about one another's talents, reviewing great tips for a successful learning environment, getting materials organized, becoming familiar with our 5th grade schedule, and setting goals for ourselves so that we can all be life-long learners.
School begins each morning at 8:05. However, he/she may enter the room beginning at 7:55. Students who eat breakfast at school may do so beginning at 7:45.
The blog is a great way for the 5th grade teachers to communicate with students and parents. New posts will be added on a weekly basis by students and teachers. You can expect to see weekly learning targets, important dates to remember, and feedback from students as they reflect on their learning.
Hello everyone! I am currently in a professional development class that teaches me about google drive. Have you ever heard of it? Hopefully, we will be able to help students edit and revise their writing by using this. :) And just so you know, the other 5th grade teachers are in a session on how to make iMovies on iPads. They sound like they're having a blast! I am truly blessed to work with some VERY FUN TEACHERS!
